If you follow me on social media, particularly instagram, you will be aware that I am now an Exante Ambassador. For 3 months I will be following the plan, so this is my Exante Diet diary, particularly the 1200 plan as this is the plan most suitable for me. I’ve followed Exante plans a few times in the past and I feel the products have improved since I had some of them in 2016. There are obviously a lot of new products for me to try this time around, which is exciting! For the purpose of this review, I tried to select a variety of flavours and products.

Exante 1200 Plan
The exante 1200 plan is ideal for me because I have an active job. Plus I prefer to have an actual meal after work, especially if I’ve had a busy day. It is important to remember that any weight loss plans or diet products are not a long term solution. My suggestion is to select a variety of products when ordering, as a variety of products will keep sticking to the plan interesting, due to the variety. Just a little note: Exante advise exercise when on the 5:2 or maintenance plan, due to them being higher calories.
Exante Diet Shakes
★★★★★
Birthday Cake Shake – I have found a new favourite in the Birthday Cake Shake! This one is limited edition, so my guess is it won’t be around for long.
★★★★★
Chocolate Shake – A long time favourite of mine, the Chocolate Shake is creamy and is a great sweet treat. It’s like having a “normal” chocolate milkshake!
★★★★★
Chocolate Mint Shake – I’m obsessed with anything mint chocolate flavoured, so you can guarantee this is my favourite exante shake flavour of all time. I always add a bit of ice to my shake, which makes the chocolate mint shake extra tasty!
★★★★★
Cherries & Berries Shake – Another long time favourite of mine but this one isn’t chocolate flavoured! The Cherries & Berries shake doesn’t disappoint and I also find it super fruity and refreshing.
★★★★★
White Chocolate & Raspberry Shake – Once again, the White Chocolate & Raspberry shake is another favourite. This is a very sweet shake, so it is perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth.
★★★★★
Low Sugar Chocolate Smoothie – These flavoured smoothies are an ultimate favourite of mine. In the past they have been a go-to for me and they still are to this day.
★★☆☆☆
Vegan Double Chocolate Shake – I’ve tried the vegan double chocolate shake in the past and I’m not a huge fan. This is mostly due to the texture of this vegan shake, as I found it to be quite bitty. I do think it is great that exante have vegan options available!
★★★☆☆
Mango & Passion Fruit Shake – This shake can be hit and miss depending on taste preferences, but I like it! Either mix with ice or you could put it into ice lolly moulds for a summer treat.
★★★☆☆
Milk Tea Shake – I was pleasantly surprised with this shake, although I didn’t really know what to expect from the flavour. I’d have the milk tea flavour again.
★★★★★
Raspberry Brownie Shake – This shake tastes like cake batter! I’m sad this is another limited edition shake, suggesting it won’t be around for long.
Exante Diet Soups
★★★★☆
Red Thai Chicken Soup – I was pleasantly surprised with the red thai chicken soup, as I didn’t expect to like it. I found it to be flavoursome and I sprinkled some paprika on top my soup.
★★★★☆
Mushroom Soup – I found this soup to be satisfying and filling, which is potentially a favourite for me.
★★★★★
Pasta, Ham & Mushroom Soup – This flavourful soup is perfect and I like that it is bulked out with a bit of pasta. These are perfect for when I need something quick to eat on my lunch break at work.
Exante Diet – Snacks
★★★★☆
Exante Choco Balls – I’m a fan of these but I can understand how they may not be to everyone’s liking. They are the ideal little treat, especially if you’re having a busy day or relaxing in front of the TV on an evening.
Exante Diet – Breakfast
★★★★★
Choco Puffs – The choco puffs are delicious and very chocolatey. It’s like a chocolate milkshake with crispy bits!
★☆☆☆☆
Berry Flavour Yogurt & Muesli – Unfortunately I just couldn’t bring myself to enjoy this yogurt. I can be funny with texture and this wasn’t for me personally.
★★★★☆
Porridge Oats Pot – These porridge oats pots are so easy to make up and they make a nice filling breakfast before work. Be sure to give the pot a shake before adding water.
Exante Diet – Mains
★★★★☆
Spaghetti Bolognese – From the main meals, the spaghetti bolognese is the best in my opinion. I bulk mine out with extra vegetables!
★★★☆☆
Pasta Carbonara – This has mixed reviews online but I leave mine to cool down and stand for a couple of minutes, to give the sauce time to thicken.
Exante Diet – Desserts
★★★★☆
Chocolate Delight – I found the chocolate delight easy to make, it’s the perfect treat if you are a chocolate fan. It’s also very filling!
★★★★☆
Gooey Chocolate Pudding – This results in something which is a lot like a chocolate mug cake! It would also taste delicious with strawberries.
Exante Diet – On The Go
★★★★☆
Chocolate Mint Cookie – I love the strong mint flavour of this cookie and it was filling. The texture can be dry, but I read a tip online which suggested microwaving the cookie for a few seconds. Allow it to cool for a little bit and then enjoy. I will definitely try this tip in future.
★★★★☆
Birthday Cake Bar – I think this has to be my favourite exante bar I’ve tried. It has a thick texture, with thick crispy sprinkles inside.
★★★★★
Water Enhancer – Cranberry Flavoured – This water enhancer is so tasty and very convenient. It is perfect when you get fed up of having normal water, giving it a lovely cranberry twist. I sometimes struggle with my water intake, but adding this has helped a lot!
June weight loss total
My total weight loss for June 2021 is 5lbs. I’m pleased with this, as I prefer steady weight loss and I have an active job. Most weeks I had a loss on the scale, but there was one week where I stayed the same. I’ve also started to take my measurements and track them in an app, so I can keep track of any non-scale victories!
