Hello! I’m Louise Rose and this is louise-rose.com! I’m a 31 year old blogger, living with my incredible fiancé, Tom, in my home city – York (as I moved back from Sheffield in 2016). I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a 2:1 in Public Relations and Media, in 2014. I’ve blogged on a variety of websites for many years now, but decided to set up my own blog and share my own experiences.
Established in December 2014 just after I had graduated from university, this blog has grown fairly quickly. LouiseRoseRailton.com is a UK lifestyle blog. I’m a self employed/freelance blogger and I’m very fortunate to have worked with some amazing brands over the past 5 years or so. Attending/Reviewing Launch Events
I am (very kindly) regularly invited to attend launch events. I’ve attended some brilliant launch events, such as the Moxy Hotel York, Indigo Rosee Beauty at Jalou York, Lush York, Carluccios York, York Food & Drink Festival and Veeno Leeds.
Food and Restaurant Reviews
I love my food and the experience of dining out, so I’ve experienced so many incredible restaurants and dining experiences. This includes reviewing Afternoon Tea by Hudsons at The Grand Hotel York and The Botanist York.
Hotel Reviews and Travel
I have been fortunate enough to stay at and review several hotels, staycations and travel experiences in the UK, such as Ox Pasture Hall Hotel Scarborough, Grassington House and a Yoga Retreat at Deighton Lodge.
As well as running my blog, I also organise blogging events in and around Yorkshire, mainly York and Sheffield. As bloggers, sometimes our diaries can be packed full of events, yet there can be times where no events are organised for a while. So (with some blogger friends) I decided to do something about this in Spring 2016, by organising our first blogger event. I enjoy getting to know bloggers and it’s a lovely feeling getting to know local people who have something in common with you. As I am now based in York, I run York Bloggers which I established in 2016.
