Review: Coco and Vanilla – Gin & Juice Range

I was recently contacted by Coco and Vanilla about their gin & juice cocktail range. Coco and Vanilla are based in London and they were created because they believed things in the cocktail world needed a shakeup. They strive to be the best, using local ingredients, packaged using as much eco friendly service as possible. Coco and Vanilla use simple ingredients to create tasty cocktails, which come ready to drink. They have collaborated with Pangea Spirit, using their deliciously infused Gin which is distilled to give a smooth and fresh taste with hints of cucumber.

I was sent 3 of the taster sized cocktails, which you can drink straight from the bottle or pour over ice, in the following flavours:

Blue Raspberry Lemonade with Gin

Mango and Passion Fruit Lemonade with Gin

Strawberry Kola Lemonade with Gin

I also received Coco and Vanilla dehydrated fruits to garnish my cocktails.

Blue Raspberry Lemonade with Gin

First up is the Blue Raspberry Lemonade with Gin, which is Pangea gin blended with Coco and Vanilla’s handcrafted raspberry blue lemonade. It’s described on their website as “bringing back a summers day in every glass”.

Mango and Passion Fruit Lemonade with Gin

Next is the Mango and Passion Fruit Lemonade with Gin. Mango and Passion Fruit are two of my favourite cocktail flavours, so I was excited to try this one in particular. It’s fruity in taste (as to be expected) and the mango flavour stood out to me. This flavour was incredibly refreshing.

Strawberry Kola Lemonade with Gin

Last is the Strawberry Kola Lemonade with Gin. As I was taste testing each cocktail, I asked Tom to also try each of them and this one was his favourite. The strawberry flavouring is sweet and the cocktail is a beautiful bright pink colour.

Overall, I’m impressed with Coco and Vanilla’s gin & juice cocktail range! I like that they can just be drank from the bottle if you are out and about, maybe at a gig or festival. They also offer party boxes, cocktail menu creation and more. You can order the taster sized bottles like I received, or the regular sized bottles.
