Last month I was invited along to the VIP & Bloggers event at The Body Shop, on Coppergate in York. I’ve previously attended The Body Shop’s event last christmas at Meadowhall, so it was nice to attend an event at my local store now I’ve moved back to York.
Upon arrival we were greeted with some tasty looking food and prosecco, which I was happy to accept after a long day at work. The first thing I spotted after the food was this beautiful display of colourful lipsticks.
The staff at The Body Shop set up a variety of different stations. At the first you could get a hand massage, at the second a face massage and at the final one you could get your make-up done.
I spent a little more than I expected but I decided to treat myself. We were also each given a goodie bag full of samples including some of the new products, which are amazing by the way. The new Pina Colada range is absolutely to die for. I am so in love with it all.
It was wonderful to get a chance to properly browse my local store at my own leisure, view new products and ask any questions we had. I really enjoyed this event, I’m really pleased with my purchases. Thank you so much to the lovely team at The Body Shop, Coppergate, York for having us. Well done – it was a brilliant event.
