Update: Weight Watchers – Week 2

I’ve now officially completed my second week of Weight Watchers. I’ve grown to understand the ProPoints plan better and I’m still enjoying what I’m eating.

It’s not often I crave something sweet, but I couldn’t stop thinking about the s’mores snack pack from the Prairie Charms Prairie Pizzazz box. It included 2 chocolate squares (melted), coconut covered marshmallows and crumbled biscuits. I worked it out to be approx 6pp and I felt so much better after eating this. It really squashed my sweet craving.

This week I did a bit more research into low point food available in supermarkets, such as this steak filled yorkshire pudding from M&S for 5pp. The meal came to 7pp in total and I really enjoyed it after what felt like such a long day at work.

I even went to Nandos this week with my lovely friend Sarah, to say goodbye to her before she leaves me and heads to university down south. I did my research before going and the wrap I usually get is pretty high in propoints. I worked out this meal was 20pp which I’m happy with, so I used some of my weekly points on it. I really enjoyed it and I was so full for the rest of the evening, I didn’t eat anything else.

I usually lose anything between 1-2lb when following diets in the past, which I’m happy with as I prefer to lose small amounts over a long period of time. The most I’ve ever lost is 3lb.

I’m so pleased to say, I lost 2.5 lbs this week! I have 1 stone to lose before I reach my 10% target. Although this may seem small, it will be pretty hard. As you’ll probably know, the more weight you lose, the harder it gets. However, I know I can do this! I’m just going to have to face my demons.
