I was born in Hull and I love travelling back to stay at my Dads and step mums house. It’s always so relaxed. I’ve had the flu for the past week so I decided to return home. There is no Weight Watchers update post this weekend, I couldn’t go get weighed as I was so unwell. I’ll be back at my WW group on Friday though.
On Friday night I cuddled with my dogs, Bonnie and Honey on the sofa. I also watched Gogglebox with my step mum, as it’s one of our favourite TV shows.
I went to feed a relatives pet rabbits with my Dad on Saturday morning. They have two females and one male. They were pretty hungry and one of the females really enjoyed chomping on a carrot I’d given her. When I got home I had an egg sandwich for breakfast and then got dressed. Mid-afternoon I went for a walk to the local shops with my step mum. Every time I visit Hull I always treat myself to one of these biscuits, as they are my absolute favourite.
On Saturday evening I had more cuddles with the dogs and watched Maleficent. I’d seen it before, but my step mum hadn’t. We also shared a pizza between the lot of us for supper.
On Sunday I watched Inside Out with my step mum, which was amazing. I loved it, I definitely want to buy it on DVD when it’s available. My step mum then cooked us a delicious sunday dinner which was brilliant. After I’d finished eating, it was time to head to the station for my train back to Sheffield.
I’ve had such a relaxing weekend at home with my family and my dogs. I really needed it. I feel so much better now and my flu has pretty much gone – I’m so glad! I’m feeling very refreshed ready for returning back to work tomorrow.
