Review: Degusta Box September 2023

September is the perfect time to discover new flavours and culinary delights so I decided to treat us both to a Degusta Box. We both enjoy trying new food items so I was excited to discover what was inside Degusta Box September 2023. In September, Degusta Box had prepared a delightful assortment of food and beverage products to try. From savoury snacks to delectable sauces and refreshing drinks, the September Degusta Box September 2023 had something for everyone. In this review, I’ll take a closer look at each item in the box, sharing my thoughts and impressions on their taste and quality.

6 O’clock Gin (London Dry Gin & Tonic)

Let’s start with a classic and timeless combination, Gin and Tonic. This was a cocktail in a can, which delivers a crisp and refreshing taste that is perfect for unwinding after a long day. This is a great addition to my weekend treats.

Available at Co-op stores and via Ocado.

Ryvita Crackerbread

If you’re looking for a light and crunchy snack, Ryvita Crackerbread is an excellent choice. These thin, crisp crackers are versatile and can be topped with your favourite spreads or used as a healthy alternative to bread. They’re a great addition to your cheese platter or a quick, guilt-free snack for any time of the day (particularly if you’re at work).

Available at the major supermarket chains.

Wagamama House Dressing

Bring the flavours of the famous Wagamama restaurant home with their House Dressing. The dressing is inspired by their iconic katsu curry side salad, it’s packed full of fragrant flavours such as shallots, soy and garlic and it’s the perfect addition to any salad. The versatility of this dressing makes it a valuable addition to your kitchen.

Available at Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and ASDA.

Jordan’s No Added Sugar Granola

I’m personally not a huge fan of this granola, but we received the Triple Nut pack. However, the information card which came in the box states “Our clusters are made with no added sugar or artificial sweeteners, we then simply add an abundance of fruits such as juicy dates, apple, blueberries and zingy cranberries so each mouthful is a fruity, crispy and crunchy joy to your taste buds.

Available at Waitrose.

Green Cola and Lemonade

I received one of each of the cola and lemonade cans, these refreshing beverages are a perfect choice for those who crave the classic taste of cola and lemonade without the guilt. Green Cola is sugar-free and naturally sweetened, making it a healthier alternative to traditional colas. The Lemonade offers a zesty, sweet-tart taste that’s perfect for sipping on a warm afternoon. Both drinks are a delicious way to quench your thirst and are more natural.

Available at Sainsbury’s, Holland & Barrett and online via Ocado or Amazon (with free delivery for Prime customers).

This passata is perfect for a wide range of dishes. It’s smooth, velvety, and loaded with the authentic taste of Italian tomatoes.

Available at Sainsbury’s and Waitrose.

Simply Cook Goan Curry

We haven’t had chance to try this yet, but this handy kit contains a mixture of spices and herbs, along with an easy-to-follow recipe card. All you need to add are some fresh ingredients, and you’ll have a delicious Goan curry in no time.

Available at the major supermarket chains.

Pasta Garofalo Rigatoni

Pasta is a staple in most households, and this Rigatoni Pasta is a fantastic addition to your pantry. The large, ridged tubes of rigatoni are perfect for catching and holding onto your favourite pasta sauces. Whether you’re cooking up a traditional Bolognese or a creamy Alfredo, this pasta is great due to the thickness, size and ridges.

Chipoys – Chilli and Lime Flavoured Tortilla Chips

I’ll be honest, I gave these to Tom to try. If you’re a fan of bold and spicy flavours, Chipoys Chilli and Lime Flavoured Tortilla Chips will be right up your alley. These popular American Chilli and Lime rolled tortilla chips are produced in Mexico with intense, authentic flavour and a real crunch. They’re great for snacking on their own or serving with your favourite dips.
