If you want to make a special effort, consider repainting your front door and adding a beautiful wreath to really add some extra curb appeal. Make it toasty

Having a warm home to host your festivities is essential, but the cost of energy is at an all-time high. Don’t worry! There are other ways you can keep your home nice and toasty. Search your home for any drafts coming from doors and windows. If there is, buy or make some draft excluders to make sure no cold air is coming in and most importantly, the heat is staying inside where it should be. That way, when it comes to snuggling on the couch watching Christmas movies, you’ll all be comfortable, warm, and cosy.

Spruce up the guest bedroom

Finally, if your guests are staying overnight, it’s worth putting a little extra effort into the guest bedroom. Switch out bedding to winter bedding, add toiletries for them to enjoy, make sure they’ve got their very own bathrobe, and add some lamps and candles so they can relax in your wonderfully welcoming home.
