Update: Weight Watchers – Week 8

This week was a super busy week for me. I started my new job on Monday and I was also invited to a bloggers menu tasting event. Due to my new job I was a little less active than usual (less walking around the office) because I’m still training for my role.

Last weekend I treated myself to the two dine for £10 deal from M&S, as I’d spotted an option in the deal which wasn’t bad in points. This is garlic stuffed mushrooms, coconut, lemongrass hake fillet and spinach. All for a delicious 6pp.

This week I tried butternut squash chips/wedges for the first time! Oh my god, so nice. I’ve really been missing out by not having these. For 0pp they are so worth it.

As mentioned above, I was invited to try the new menu at The Forum, Sheffield. Keep an eye out for my blog post tomorrow all about their new menu! I tried to keep my portions as small as possible, but I did have cocktails also which added points.

For lunch this week (most days) I had a slice of homemade quiche, it’s a really cheap/easy way of having something prepared for lunch. I used my recipe builder to create this and it’s 3pp per portion.

I went to my meeting tonight and I gained half a lb. My first gain since joining WW. I am slightly gutted because I was on such a streak with my weight loss journey, but I’m going to try not let it get to me. I know I’ve done amazing to lose what I have in the time I’ve been following Weight Watchers, I just need to keep going!

  1. Wow, I can’t believe that dinner was 6 points. That’s amazing. I’ve been wondering how people with a smaller allowance do it. This looks like one great way!
