My First Week Of Weight Watchers

After feeling so low about myself and lacking confidence, I decided to join Weight Watchers last week. I found it takes quite a lot of research and preparation while getting to know the plans.

I decided to try Propoints during my first week and at first I was dubious. To my surprise, I actually got on well with Propoints and enjoyed my meals.

I thought I would share some of the meals I made during my first week. This also may help me in future when I’m stuck for ideas of what to eat.

My version of Patatas Bravas with an egg on top – 7pp

I’m craving eggs quite often at the moment. I decided to make my own version of patatas bravas, bulking it up with bacon and mushrooms. It was perfect with the egg on top and tasted SO nice.

Banana Soya Milk Smoothie – 3pp

Sometimes I need something fast and easy for breakfast, which is when my Nutribullet comes in very useful. I freeze banana so it’s ready to be added when I want a soya milk smoothie. To make it a little more filling, I added and pointed soya yogurt.

Weight Watchers Chicken Tikka Masala with Basmati Rice – 9pp

This was the first time I’d tried one of the Weight Watchers chilled meals. I’d only tried the frozen meals before this week. I have to say, this was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend even commented on how nice it smelt when he got home from work.

Weight Watchers Quiche and Salad – 10pp

The quiche alone is 7pp, which I think is quite nice. I’d prefer it if the quiche didn’t contain onion but it’s decent if you need something easy for a quick lunch.

I’m so pleased to say I lost 1lb in my first week, which I’m very happy about. It was my friends birthday last weekend and I drank a little bit too much champagne. I tried to point it as best I could and I was worried I wouldn’t lose anything because of it. Let’s hope for another loss at the end of next week!

A little too excited about champagne.
