Blogmas: Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all of my readers, friends and family! I hope Santa brought you and your family everything they wished for. As I’ve previously mentioned on my blog, this year is a little different to my usual Christmas’ because it’s my first Christmas with Kiel.

I was extremely tired from my birthday celebrations and I also managed to start having flu symptoms on the evening of my birthday, so I slept in a little on Christmas morning.

Around 10am Kiel’s mum woke us up and we headed downstairs where our presents were waiting for us. Angus, Kiel’s parents dog, was extremely excited by all of the presents in the living room. Mandy, Kiel’s mum, made each of us bacon sandwiches in the morning which was awesome.

I’m going to be doing a full blog post all about what I got for my birthday and what I got for Christmas very soon. For now, I’ll show you this adorable cuddly teddy that I got from Kiel’s parents. It’s so snuggly. My parents and family know me so well, they all had such wonderful gifts for me, for both my birthday and Christmas.

After we’d opened all our presents, we all sat in the living room watching lots of different films, including Christmas movies such as Home Alone. Later in the afternoon, a delicious Christmas dinner had been cooked for us by Kiel’s mum. We had chicken instead of turkey, which is good because I’m not really a fan of turkey to be honest. For dessert, I had a beautiful raspberry panna cotta.

Merry Christmas! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas Day, no matter how you spent your time. A huge thank you to Kiel’s parents for having us over for Christmas, it was so wonderful and we really enjoyed staying.
