Saturday evening was the Sheffield Bloggers Christmas Meal organised by the awesome Kirstie. It was quite a last minute decision within the Sheffield bloggers and it’s so hard to make plans which everyone’s available for at this time of year, so she did really well. I love going out for a meal and cocktails – any excuse to get dressed up and cover myself in glitter.
We decided on Wagamams, as the food is so lovely. It was lovely to see familiar faces and some new faces. I felt quite hungry so I decided to order a starter and main. I chose pork steamed bun to start and chicken katsu curry for main.
The pork steamed bun was really delicious. I enjoyed it so much that I actually ate my main before I finished eating the remainder of the pork steamed bun.
Chicken katsu curry is the dish I choose regularly for main from Wagamamas. It’s always so nice.
We then headed to Fear X Loathing who are based on West Street. We wanted somewhere with nice cocktails, but also with a nice atmosphere. I was really impressed with the excellent customer service from all members of staff. The cherry cola cocktail from the specials board was really tasty.
The group stayed in Fear X Loathing for a good few hours enjoying the cocktails until we all decided it was time to go home. I didn’t want to stay out super late anyway as I knew I had plans the following day!
It was so lovely to see some of the Sheffield bloggers again. I always have a wonderful evening. Thank you again to Kirstie for organising the evening. I’m looking forward to see what 2016 holds for the bloggers of Sheffield!
