#Blogmas – Top 3 Favourite Christmas Films

Favourite Christmas Films - Louise Rose Railton

I wanted to bring you something a little different to the rest of my Blogmas posts, so here’s my Top 3 Favourite Christmas Films. I’ve also included a small summary about each of these festive films.

Elf

I’m sure most people will have heard of or watched Elf. It’s a Christmas comedy about one of Santa’s elves who learns of his true identity as a human. He goes to New York to meet his biological father and spreads Christmas cheer along the way. It’s such a great film and always gets me in the festive spirit.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

This isn’t one of your typical Christmas films, but I adore it. It’s completely original. The Nightmare Before Christmas is stop motion musical film, which tells us the story of how Jack Skellington (from a place called Halloween Town) opens a portal to Christmas Town and wants to celebrate the Christmas holiday. This film is really worth a watch.

Love Actually

Opinions sometimes vary in regards to the film, Love Actually. It’s a Christmas-themed romantic comedy based in Britain, mainly in London, where we are shown ten separate stories. These stories show us the different aspects of love and that “Love Actually Is All Around”. Love Actually is a wonderful film to watch at Christmas time.

Do you have any favourite Christmas films? What are they? Let me know in the comments below!
