#Blogmas: Yankee Candle – My Fragrance Of The Week: Egyptian Musk

Day 12 of Blogmas and I have another non-Christmas themed post for you. Earlier this year my lovely friend Mandy sent me a package full of cute gifts to cheer me up. Inside this package was the Yankee Candle scent, Egyptian Musk. Mandy said she aimed to get me one which I’d never tried before and she was correct.

Egyptian Musk is from the Out Of Africa collection. As far as I’m aware, I’ve not tried any from this collection. It’s for this reason that I was looking forward to trying Egyptian Musk.

Egyptian Musk will make you feel like you’re elsewhere, with an atmosphere of warm sandstone and saharan desert dust. In some reviews there are complaints of Egyptian Musk having no strong scent, but I think I prefer it that way. I like how subtle it is.

After burning for a while, I’d say Egyptian Musk is suitable for anyone. The scent isn’t feminine, nor masculine, it is however great for freshening a room and isn’t heavy in scent.

I’m really pleased Mandy bought me Egyptian Musk. It’s not my usual scent preference, but this is such a beautiful candle. I’m looking forward to purchasing it in future.
