Dressing Warm This Winter

As the weather gets colder, it’s time to start thinking about your winter wardrobe and keeping yourself warm. Wearing the appropriate clothing as the temperature drops will help to keep you comfortable. I love winter and I love being all cosy. Winter fashion is great, I adore long coats, comfy scarves, chunky jumpers, etc. However, I do think it can be fairly difficult to style winter clothes sometimes. Experiment with your winter wardrobe, mix it up, and try on things you usually wouldn’t when shopping – you’ll probably discover something new.

Treat yourself to a cosy coat/jacket

One thing to consider, which may sometimes be overlooked, is heated jackets. They can be really useful for helping to keep you warm in the cold weather. Companies such as Cozy Winters have a variety of suitable options, including pullovers/hoodies, puffy jackets and vest jackets. You could also invest in a rain jacket or coat, to protect yourself when the weather is miserable.

Don’t forget a scarf

A good, warm scarf can be a great staple for any winter wardrobe. I have thin ones for when the weather is starting to get warmer, between that awkward period of spring and summer. You can add a pop of colour to your outfit with a bright scarf.

Boots

Boots are brilliant, especially for winter. I prefer flat boots to high heels, but either can work well in winter, keeping your feet warm whilst still being comfortable.

Gloves

A warm pair of gloves is a good option to always have with you. I used to work outside for the majority of the day in an old job, and I also used to put heat pads inside my gloves to help keep my hands warm – this worked really well to be honest.
