Budget

We want to start with the boring part – the budget. While it might be boring and quite daunting to think about, it’s essential that you know what you are working with so that you can keep inside your limits. The last thing that you want is to fall in love with anything only to find that you can’t afford it, as this will ruin everything else that comes after it. If you set out your budget beforehand, you will know what you can and cannot afford, only looking at the options that are affordable to you. You will always be able to find something that you love, so don’t stress, just keep on researching.

Dates

When deciding on the date for your wedding, you need to try and be open as much as you can. The reason for this is because you’ve got to work with what the venue can do and what they have available, and then plan everything else around it. This is because your dream venue is one of the most important parts of the day which we’re going to be talking about a little more in a minute. Try to choose a month that you would like to be married in, being mindful of the schedule of others as much as you can. Weekday weddings are cheaper, but your guests may struggle to get time off.

Venue

Another top consideration is where you are going to get married, your venue is a very important part of your day. Without a venue you won’t be able to set your dates or send out invites to your guests. Check out some of the best wedding venues around the area you’ve chosen, make sure you contact them to go and visit. You can only know when you’ve come across the perfect venue when you see it in person for yourselves.

Honeymoon

Finally, think about where you are going to venture off to for your wonderful honeymoon. The world is quite literally your oyster and you need to speak to your new husband or wife about where you both want to go. How about you both create a bucket list and you can work your way through it together. This is a very sweet and romantic thing to do as newlyweds, especially if you are taking some time off after your wedding. Do your research when it comes to honeymoon destinations, there are some more popular ones out there. Examples of this could be The Caribbean, Thailand, and even Hawaii.
