Northern Blogs Co – Banyan Leeds Event

AD – GIFTED | Northern Blogs Co is a local network for bloggers and influencers which hosts regular meet ups. Organised by Paige and Victoria, the event was really fun and they did such a fab job of organising it. This event took place at Banyan Leeds, which I’d never visited before, although I’ve been to other Banyan restaurants. Although we paid for our food, we were kindly gifted a goodie bag at the end of the event, so I’ve labelled this post as gifted due to including information about the goodie bag further down in this blog post.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a glass of prosecco and picked up our place cards, then went to find a place around the huge table to sit. One of my favourite parts was the Pimp My Prosecco stand – I thought this was such a great touch and a wonderful idea. It proved to be very popular amongst all of the attendees.

We all pre-ordered our food, which made it so much easier for Banyan. I’ve been to other events over the years where people getting their food has been chaos. I ordered the Chicken Schnitzel, which surprised me as the chicken was a lot bigger than I expected it to be! It also had a garlic butter on top which was delicious.

There was also a table full of leaflets from Leeds businesses, cake and other sweet treats to try from 42nd East Bakehouse who are also based in Leeds and then adorable goodie bags from Molton Brown. The leaflets and offers included were from Leeds Play House, Mac Cosmetics UK, John Lewis and Pastille Beauty.

This day in particular was very rainy and windy so my hair is frizzy and windswept, but I thought I’d share this photo of me with my prosecco. Thank you to Lucy for taking it for me. Banyan Leeds is absolutely beautiful inside, especially upstairs where the event took place.

Thank you again to Northern Blogs Co for organising and putting on the event. It was a great afternoon and a wonderful opportunity to meet other bloggers and influencers from across the north of England. I’ve already secured my place for one of their next events and I’m very much looking forward to it!
