Review: Femme Luxe Finery – Haul #2

This is my second collaboration with Femme Luxe Finery, who gifted me a selection of items of my choice, in exchange for a blog post review. There were plenty of different and new items for me to browse, compared to my previous femme luxe haul. It’s good to see the more autumn and winter friendly items available on their website. Apologies that this review is quite late, I’ve had a lot happening in my personal life due to a death in the family and starting a new job. Thankfully all items except one (the oversized jumper) are still available to buy on the Femme Luxe Finery website. There is also a varied selection of dresses available, which is great now the festive season is fast approaching.

Black Sweet But Psycho Print T-Shirt

Colour: Black
Size: M/L (12/14)
Price: Currently £5.99, reduced from £11.98

This is a casual top which is great to wear for an every day occasion. The Sweet But Psycho Print T-Shirt is a simple but stylish item of clothing. The material is very soft and it’s extremely comfortable to wear paired with some jeans. A perfect casual outfit for this cold weather we’re now having since winter has arrived.

Black Lips Printed Oversized Long Sleeve Shirt Dress – Rihanna

Colour: Black
Size: XL (12/14)
Price: Unfortunately this is currently unavailable

I like to wear this oversized shirt dress on an evening, when it starts to get cold out. I’m unsure why this item is no longer available to buy on the website, but I would recommend the shirt dresses they do have – as I own a couple of them now and they are super comfy. It’s a shame it isn’t available to buy as I bet it would be popular due to the bright colours of the print.

Sadly, the two other items I ordered weren’t quite right for me. The Red Belted Bodycon Midi Dress (currently £16.99, reduced from £33.98) was a size too small for me and I didn’t feel very confident in it due to the way it sat on my body. However, the Black Cami Knitted Side Split Maxi Dress (currently £14.99, reduced from £29.98) does fit me well, but I’ve struggled to find an occasion to wear it at and get decent photos, as the weather is so unpredictable at the moment. I will say, the knitted maxi dress is super soft and feels good on. It’s just an odd one to try wear with the UK’s unpredictable weather.

Once again, it can be a bit hit and miss with sizing, but I still managed to pick two items which I wear regularly. I’m pleased with the items I chose, it’s just a shame the red dress doesn’t fit and I didn’t feel comfortable in it. The other items all fit well, or are oversized but I like some of my clothes to be oversized so I purposefully chose them for that reason. Be sure to have a browse of the different Femme Luxe Finery collections by heading to their website, femmeluxefinery.co.uk.
