Today I’m bringing you my fifth Femme Luxe haul review. Normally I would shoot photos for these blog posts in daylight, but I bought these items for the purpose of wearing them at home – so I decided to take my photos inside. Femme Luxe offer a variety of clothing including white dresses and denim shorts. This month I received a package from Femme Luxe, expecting four items to be included (as I chose four) but just three items turned up. The package contained a crop top and two pairs of trousers. Unfortunately, one of the pairs of trousers didn’t fit me – I couldn’t get them past my thighs. Keep reading to read my full review of this femme luxe haul!
White Ruched Bardot Off The Shoulder Frill Detail Crop Top – Laney

Normally, I’m not a fan of white as I’m just so clumsy and I’ll end up spilling something down my white clothing and ruining it. I’d have preferred this crop top in black, purely because black is more of my colour and I find it easier to match my outfits with a black top. On this occasion, I decided I would give the white ruched bardot off the shoulder frill detail crop top a try, as we’ve had some fairly hot days recently here in the UK and I wanted something cool I can wear around the house. The material is soft to touch and I like that it is strapless, as this means I could wear it when I next travel to a hot country. The crop top has simple, but beautiful detail because of the frills. This crop top is available in size 6 – 14.
Blue Multi-Colour Ribbed High Waisted Flare Leg Trousers – Thea

The blue multi-colour ribbed high waisted flare leg trousers are so comfortable, with a classic high waist. These are perfect for the purpose I got them for – something comfy to wear around the house! The material is a little thin so I’d suggest considering the type of underwear/colour you’re going to be wearing, as you may not want to show that off to everyone if you do venture outside. These trousers are available in size 6 – 14.
Black High Waisted Front Split Tailored Trousers – Lottie

Unfortunately (as I explained in the introduction to this blog post) there was a pair of trousers which didn’t fit me. I couldn’t get the black high waisted front split tailored trousers past my thighs. Femme Luxe can be a little hit and miss with sizing sometimes, which I have mentioned in my previous reviews. The trousers seem like a decent quality though and if I could get them on my body – I feel like they would look flattering, it’s just a shame they are only available up to size 14, otherwise I would have sized these up when I chose my items to size 16. They would have been perfect to wear for a meal out in a nice restaurant. These trousers are also available in size 6 – 14.
As mentioned above, it’s a shame that the sizing of Femme Luxe items can be hit and miss. I’d have liked to have also chosen from the pretty black dresses, but they weren’t available to choose from at the time of me selecting which items I wanted to review in this haul. I’ve not been as impressed as I normally would be with these Femme Luxe items and I’m saddened that the sizing only goes up to size 14 on most of the items available. Sizing is extremely important and I absolutely believe these fashion brands are missing out on sales because they don’t have clothing available in size 16 or plus sizes. They are missing out on a key demographic who want to spend their money on clothing which is stylish.
