The Black Milk Clothing community is a huge part of my life. I’ve made some amazing friends via the community. A sharkie is a name given to someone who is a fan/customer of Black Milk Clothing.
I’ve been to many sharkie meet-ups over the past couple of years, with Camp Sharkie 2015 as my most recent “big meet-up”. Camp Sharkie was amazing, I got to meet so many amazing people who I’ve wanted to meet for ages.
There was a small Sheffield meet on Monday and we went to Las Iguanas. It was AMAZING. I’ve been to one of their other restaurants before, but seriously, it was so good this time. We had so much food, it was unreal. As meat eaters, Emma and I shared our tapas together. Immy and Stacey are both vegetarian so they shared their tapas.
At local meets, like the Sheffield meet-up earlier this week, they are usually smaller. At most there is usually 10 of us, but this week 4 of us turned up in the end. It was really nice seeing my Sheffield sharkie friends and even though I don’t get to see them as often as I’d like, it’s like we’ve known each other years. Probably because we know so much about each others lives because of the community.
Even though I only got to see the girls for a couple of hours, I had such a lovely evening. We definitely need another meal/Sheffield sharkie night out soon.
