Wednesday was the last day at my current job, so I didn’t need to worry as much about planning my food for work. However, I’ve had a really tough week with many ups and downs, so I slacked with sticking to the plan this week. It sucks but this week was the first week I’ve felt so rubbish since starting – I’ve learnt my lesson and my motivation seems to have returned.
I had a “magic moment” on Saturday. I’d popped into town to my food shopping. Since gaining weight over recent years, I’d become dependant on leggings and became afraid to buy more jeans. I decided to face my demons and try on some jeans in town. I picked up size 14R first thinking they would be fine because of my weightloss but they were big around my waist. I put those back and picked up 14S and 12S as there weren’t any 12R. I was shocked to see I fit into the 12S so I treated myself to them. Definitely the motivation I needed to keep going!
On Saturday for my tea, I remembered I had one of the Weight Watchers Salmon and Wedges Bakes in my freezer and really fancied it. I’d forgotten how delicious they are and it was only 7pp.
Sunday was a bit of a miserable day, but Matt was back from London so we spent the evening together. We went to Taco Bell for lunch and I worked out my meal was approx 25pp including my drink, which may seem high but it was really worth it.
I had chicken soup for my lunch a couple of times this week, for 2pp, topped with a sprinkling of paprika.
Another brilliant moment for me this week was seeing/realising how much weight I’ve lost from my face since starting Weight Watchers. Must keep going!
After such a STRESSFUL week and not sticking to pointing 100%, I lost 1lb this week! How? I don’t know. Not that I’m complaining. After the meeting tonight I’m feeling motivated and I’m determined to have a better week in regards to sticking to the plan.
