I’m a big fan of a good Afternoon Tea, especially living in York where we have plenty of tea rooms nearby. For Day 7 of Blogmas, I’ve decided to write a guide with information about festive afternoon tea, at a variety of locations.

There are 4 dates available this year, to attend the Mad Hatter’s Festive Afternoon Tea Party at The Grand Hotel in York. As their website states, these Alice in Wonderland themed events are perfect for both adults and children.

Lord’s Cricket Ground – London
Visit Lord’s this year for a festive themed afternoon tea, which will include Christmas themed delights for either £54, or £65 with champagne. Enjoy your festive afternoon tea in the iconic long room. Included in the price is a short tour of the Pavilion and the MCC Museum.
The wonderful Browns in Leeds also have a Christmas afternoon tea available this year, which includes your choice of one of Browns festive cocktails. The festive afternoon tea menu is available throughout December until 30th December 2016, costing £17.95 per person.
Patisserie Valerie – York (and other locations)
Indulge in a delicious festive afternoon tea at Patisserie Valerie. For two people the afternoon tea costs £28.00 in total, or £14.00 per person. You can easily book online in advance via their website and vegetarian options are also available.
I hope you find my Festive Afternoon Tea guide helpful. There are some really great Christmas themed afternoon tea’s on offer this December.
During December, the lovely Aimee who blogs at Aimee Raindrop Writes is my DELUXE advertiser. Check out her blog and please also give her a follow on Twitter and Instagram!
