I’m instantly attracted to anything covered in glitter, so when I spotted Sparkly Pumpkin in my local Lush store, I had to buy it.
I had some free time on Wednesday evening, so decided to use this bubble bar for my bath. With a beautiful and bright orange/gold exterior, this will make you instantly feel festive. I felt like I’d actually started to celebrate Halloween by using this!
Consisting of juniperberry, lime and grapefruit oils, this bubble bar has a unique scent. Sparkly Pumpkin can be broken in half to make it last longer, but I decided to use it in one go. I’d say bubble bars do have an advantage because you can make them go further and get more for your money.
I’m sometimes a bit dubious about the colour orange in bath products, as I assume they will stain the bath. Not much was left at all in this case, just a bit of glitter which was easy to wash away.
Pros
- Smells nice
- Produced plenty of bubbles
- Beautiful in appearance
- Skin felt soft afterwards
- The water turned into a vibrant orange colour
- Glitter – I love sparkles
Cons
- Scent wasn’t as strong as I’d hoped
- Seasonal – this exact bubble bar won’t be around for much longer
I returned back to my local Lush store this weekend to see if they had any more but unfortunately I couldn’t see any. I would however purchase Sparkly Pumpkin in future, it’s such a beautiful product. It’s a shame it’s seasonal!

They are available until the end of November 🙂 I asked the lady in the shop, cos I want to stock up!!
Ah that’s brilliant! I must have just been unlucky when I went in store to buy another haha 🙁
Apparently they sell out super quick! I really want to visit the Oxford St store in London. Apparently they have loads of special editions that you can only buy there.
