So, week 3 of Weight Watchers is complete. Yay! I’m still really enjoying following the ProPoints plan. My points reset every Friday which was perfect because I went back to stay at my parents last week.
I also bought a Fitbit! It was £20 less than the regular price for the Fitbit Charge HR. Even though I work in administration, I do a lot of walking during my day because of certain parts of my job.
I went out for food at Harvester on the Saturday evening with my parents and grandparents which was easy to point using the app on my phone.
I also got to see my best friend, Arron, for a couple of hours on Sunday. We decided on McDonalds because it was pretty late and we were skint. I didn’t eat much all day because I knew I was eating out so I saved a lot of my points for this meal. It came to a total of 21pp in the end and it was so worth it.
When I got back to Sheffield on Monday (I booked the day off work to spend extra time at home and with my mum), we went for a lovely walk. It really boosted my steps on my Fitbit and I really enjoyed it.
When we got home I made tea for mum and myself, we decided on chicken, potatoes, coleslaw, veg and salad. I used the Garlic & Herb Shake and Bake which you can buy in meetings. We were so surprised with how nice it tasted.
I’ve also been playing around with different fruit and making myself overnight oats. It’s a low point breakfast which I find very filling, but yummy. I can easily take it to work with me if I don’t have time to eat it before I set off.
On Thursday I went to Cosmo’s Sheffield with work friends because it was Lauren’s leaving meal. I was scared in regards to eating too much and I didn’t want to regret it. So, I planned out everything I want to eat and stuck to small portions, including dessert. I did use the majority of my weekly points on the meal, but it was fine because my points reset at midnight.
I spotted this beautiful rainbow on my walk to work on Friday morning which I thought I’d share.
I’m pleased to say that even after spending the weekend away and the meal at Cosmo’s, I lost 1lb! I’m so happy with that as it proved to me that if you plan in advance and prepare as best you can, you can still get some kind of result.
