Week 4 complete and I attended weigh in this evening. Tonight we discussed how we can improve our weight loss. I’ve realised I don’t drink enough fluids as I’ve had headaches all week. This needs to improve. I came to the conclusion/realisation that I only drink two cups of tea a week. Starting today, I will be focusing on consuming more liquid, especially water.
On Sunday morning I decided to treat myself to something nice for breakfast. I made these delicious pancakes for approx 3pp. You can view the general recipe here.
I’ve been making a huge effort to walk more, especially since I bought my Fitbit as it’s so addictive. On my walk I came across “The Bear Pit” which was pretty cool. The story behind it is really interesting which I’ve decided to share below.
“The bear pit dates from the early 19th century and is Grade ll listed. It was originally home to two bears and was a popular attraction for Victorian families. Local legend has it that the Bears were moved from the gardens after a child accidentally fell into the pit and was savaged by the bears.”
Since discovering my dairy intolerance, I’ve looked for yummy dairy free meals which is when I came across a brand called Kirsty’s. I finally spotted their lasagne in my local supermarket and it’s 9pp which is the same amount of propoints as the WW lasagne’s.
On Wednesday I was really craving cheese on toast for breakfast. Oh my god, it was so worth it. This came to 8pp in total which is a little high as I usually have a lower pointed breakfast. It tasted awesome though.
Last night I fancied something lovely, but filling. This is my own version of patatas bravas for 5pp but I randomly throw an egg on top because it tastes awesome.
This week was really hard as I seemed to be hungrier than usual but I’m happy to be able to say I lost 1 and 1/2 lbs! I’m so incredibly close to my first mini weight loss target.
